We can provide a meal for your first night if you require it . This can be discussed prior to arrival . A charge will be made .

We cannot take bookings for people with disabilities ,unfortunately French stairs tend to be steep and narrow which also may be detrimental to people of more mature years and young children.
We do not provide a charging point for electric cars . Charging points are available in most villages and supermarkets .

Cancellation/prepayment
Cancellation and prepayment policies vary according to accommodation type. Full payment for your booking is required at least 8 weeks before your arrival. Any cancellations within the last four weeks before arrival will result in loss of your payment.
Refundable damage deposit
A damage deposit of EUR 500 is required on arrival. That’s about 416.00 GBP. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out providing there has been no damage to pool, garden furniture, house or contents. Your damage deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property.
Children and beds
A family room can be made available providing beds in the parents room for younger children , please ask.
Please note , children are NOT allowed around the pool area unless accompanied by a responsible adult . Constant supervision is required. All activities are taken under your own responsibility, the management will not be held responsible for accident or injury .
The pool will close at 20.00 in the evening.
The swimming pool is known as a Hopper style pool which means that it has a deep area(3 meters) with steep sloping sides . Please be aware that unless you or your children are competent swimmers you will require adequate personal safety equipment.
Sanitation.
We are not on mains sewage system but have a Fosse Septic ( Septic tank ). Please DO NOT place anything down the toilet (Sanitary protection , nappies, face wipes , wet wipes, kitchen towel etc . ) as this will cause the system to block and the contents will end up back in the cottage . You will also be charged for the removal of any blockage . This usually costs around 600-800 Euros. We provide all toilet paper and cleaning products that are acceptable for use with a Fosse Septic .
Parties/events are not allowed.
People not on the original booking agreement will not be allowed on the premises. If you wish to meet with other people please arrange to do it off the cottage premises.
In the pool area only unbreakable glasses etc are allowed . These are supplied and can be found in the cottage. This is for your own safety. If glass is broken in the pool, the pool will have to be emptied , cleaned and re filled . This not only takes time but you will be responsible for the cost of this procedure .
We do not provide pool/beach towels . House towels must NOT be used in the pool area. If this should occur you will be charged for replacements.
If there is an accident and anything gets broken please let us know so we can get the item repaired or replaced , we understand accidents happen .
The Pool Area
Pets may be allowed. (Please discuss with us ) anyone arriving with pets without prior agreement will be refuse entry.
Quiet Hours – Guests must be quiet between 00:00 and 08:00.
Please inform La Vieille Fermette, Villejésus in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Swimming pool is closed between Oct and May as it is seasonal and not at the present heated .
This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
Useful Information.
Our commune practices recycling our waste products. We would be grateful if you would do the same .
Normal household waste goes into the grey waste sacks provided.
Recycling , plastics , tins and cardboard go in the yellow waste sack provided .
Our waste is picked up on Wednesday evening , please leave your sacks outside our property and we will make sure they go out for pick up.
All glass bottles must be collected and deposited in the recycling bins seen in the village squares or roadside pick up points . You can also deposit any papers , leaflets ,magazines etc here too.
- All cleaning products including washing machine and dishwasher products can be found in the cupboard under the kitchen sink.
- Instruction booklets for all electrical items can be found on top of the fridge/freezer
- The ironing board , iron and floor cleaning items can be found in the under stair cupboard.
Please leave the cottage as you would expect to find it . Any damage will have to be paid for before you leave the premises .
