Things to see and do in Brittany
Vannes/Lorient: Coastal cities to the south with fantastic beaches.
Cancal: Fishing port to the north where you can buy fresh shellfish straight from the boat.
Pont du Quera: Local hamlet where you can go kayaking.
In addition to this there are go karts, riding schools, golf courses, rivers & lakes to fish in, cookery classes, French classes and a Shooting Range (Eurotir 22) which belongs to the local shooting club. Motorcyclists may also be interested in the "pilgrimage" at Porcaro where the festival attracts around 10,000 bikers

Lac au Duc: Watersports & golf course, equipment can be hired including ski's
St Malo: Fortified Walled City & ferry port to the north with an abundance of cafes fine restaurants and fantastic beaches.
St Nazaire: This was the
second world war naval base for the German U-boats. There is a museum dedicated to this.

Please note that we are pet friendly and welcome up to two well behaved pets. For guests returning to the UK we will happily arrange pet passport return vaccinations through our local vet should you require this.

What we offer
A 200 year old farmhouse dating back to 1790, situated in a small and welcoming hamlet in Central Brittany, all within easy commute of the major airports and ferry ports. The house is full of character features such as solid oak beams and a wood burning insert fire to relax in front of in the evening.
A fully equipped kitchen with fridge & microwave, large lounge / diner with UK freeview TV. Downstairs WC, Washing machine / iron / ironing board, WiFi access.
A large & airy bedroom featuring exposed beams with a double and single bed which can accommodate up to 3 people. Well appointed family size en-suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower. An additional single bed can be added if required (at no extra charge).
All bed linen and towels are supplied, however we would ask guests to bring their own beach towels.
A complimentary welcome pack will await all guests on arrival with fresh bread, milk, cheese, butter and a bottle of wine.
The local village is only a few minutes drive away and there you will find a selection of shops and bars including a bakers, supermarket, post office and a Pizzeria.
Suitable for cyclists or motor cyclists looking at a central location for touring Brittany or further or just as a stop off point before heading south through France to Spain etc. Bicycles can be hired subject to availability.
Birdwatchers will enjoy the local wildlife of kites, hawks, owls, buzzards & eagles which are a regular sight or you may spot the wild deer who regularly visit us. Why not go fishing in the local lakes or the Nantes - Brest Canal or sample the local markets, restaurants or visit a local chateau in Pontivy, La Cheze or Josselin.
Please Note: There is no smoking within the accommodation.
Saturday is our standard changeover day, but should you be thinking of joining us for just a few days please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
